Washington Elementary School is a title one school located in Riviera Beach, FL. There are over 350 students and 45 teachers. When we first began our partnership with Washington Elementary, the principal was Sandra Edwards. She was named principal of the year for the 2017/18 school year. She was also principal of the year in 2014 and successfully moved Washington Elementary from an "F" rated school to a "B" rated school. Sadly, after just one year of working with us, she moved on to a middle school, and that was when we met Carissa Battle, Washington Elementary's current principal. Principal Battle cares so much about her students and making their days at school incredible.
We are proud to announce that we have officially moved into a second school, a goal that we have had for a long time now. The school's media specialist, Lisa Seymour, reached out to us for help with funding her after-school, all-boys book club. Since we are passionate about reading, we definitely wanted to help. Seminole Trails is located in West Palm Beach and has 834 students. The principal, Judith Gerard, welcomed us in and we successfully completed a $50,000 library and news studio renovation. And, the book club is going strong!

We have officially partnered with our first Title One high school, John I. Leonard High School in Greenacres, FL. With the help of our friends at Palm Beach Roadrunners, we have begun working with the Cross Country and Track and Field teams to provide student athletes with new equipment and resources to enhance their experience in both competitions and practices. We met with the students and Coach Kristy Kirk on the John I. Leonard football field back in February of 2022, and we wish both teams good luck this season!
